Description
Cymbopogon pospsichilii (commonly called as Narrowleaf Turpentinegrass) is a herb that grows naturally and indigenously in the Great Rift Valley. As you have correctly guessed, it belongs to the same family as the more common palmarosa and lemongrass. Its α-pinene content is similar to that of frankincense (Boswellia neglecta), giving it a unique herbal scent of pine and rose.
