Description
Our rosemary essential oil is sourced from farmers and local small-scale distillers situated within the dry and wet slopes of Mt Kenya, and those dispersed within the dry plains of the Aberdare Ranges. The high altitudes characteristic of these slopes and planes, coupled with the dry and wet climates gives our rosemary oil a unique terroir of camphoraceous notes that define its non-woody herbal scent due to the high presence of camphene, camphor and cineole.
The hair benefits – stimulation of hair follicles to enhance growth and strength as well as anti-dandruff – remain true to the oil, with the added benefits of muscle and neural stimulation making the oil ideal for use in muscle remedies such as pain oils.
Major components from GCMS analyses are: 1,8-Cineole, Camphor, Camphene and α-Pinene. Certificates of Analysis (CoA), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Declaration of Allergens (DoA) are available upon request.
